Workpackage 2 |

Stakeholder Engagement and User Involvement (WP2) organises feedback from focus groups and professional stakeholders to ensure the new DISCOVER service is user friendly and accepted in the wider market. It also raises awareness of the project through wider engagement. The objectives during period 1 were to establish digital skills levels and information needs of carers to feed into the requirement specification generated by WP3 and the market assessment generated by WP5; to set down the guidelines for participant engagement in an ethical way and to initiate wider stakeholder engagement. |

Workpackage 4 |

WP4: Service Pilots (WP4) is responsible for planning, preparing, implementing and evaluating a 12 months operational phase of the DISCOVER service in 4 pilot sites. Pilot sites are in Greece, Spain, the Netherlands and the UK. The objectives of period 1 were to plan the implementation of the pilots; develop the evaluation methodology and support the integration of local components in WP3. |

Workpackage 5 |

WP5: Mainstreaming & Exploitation (WP5) assesses the current market situation in the partner countries and Europe with the aim to develop economically sustainable business models for the DISCOVER service. This includes IPR arrangements. The objectives for period 1 were to conduct a market assessment and initiate discussion with all partners about the DISCOVER service and its selling points. The nature of this work package means that all its deliverables are commercially confidential and will therefore not be published on this website. |

Workpackage 6 |

WP6: Communication & Dissemination (WP6) is the workstream for delivering an extensive range of activities that will raise awareness of stakeholders and promote the project. This includes building and maintaining the project website, use of social media channels, producing publicity materials and organising conferences, events, presentations and publications. The objectives for period 1 were to develop the project brand, launch the project, create the project website, set up social media channels and create the communications plan. |
